Dr. Vikas Desai is a highly experienced Internist and primary care physician, currently serving as the Chief Medical Officer. He is known for his calm, reassuring, and patient-focused approach to care.
He earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency training in New York and New Jersey, building a strong foundation in comprehensive primary care and internal medicine.
Dr. Desai proudly serves patients at our East Islip office, providing consistent, compassionate, and patient-centered care to individuals and families.
As part of his primary care practice, Dr. Desai treats both acute and chronic conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, thyroid disorders, anxiety, and common infections. Patients also visit him for annual physicals, preventive screenings, and everyday health concerns.
